About The Book Stage

A longer hearing for the people who write the books.

The Book Stage was built on a simple frustration: most author interviews end before they truly begin. A quick segment, a generic question, a short plug for the book — then the conversation disappears.

We believed writers — and readers — deserved something better.

So we built an independent platform centered around long-form literary conversation. Today, The Book Stage hosts multiple recurring shows, rotating hosts, featured author pages, audio episodes, and a growing archive dedicated to contemporary writing.

Each featured author receives a dedicated profile. Every episode remains accessible for readers and listeners. Every month, readers vote publicly for Author of the Month, with the winner receiving a featured spotlight episode.

The platform remains independent and intentionally author-focused. The conversations are shaped by people who actually read the books, not by trends or algorithms.

If you're an author, publicist, independent press, or reader with a recommendation, we'd love to hear from you.
